Miss Jill became a part of our lives, through the Babies Cant Wait program. She made a world of difference and we were so blessed to have had that time with her.

Chronicling our Journey

"So here's the plan: We go forward with joy, hope, gratitude, courage and humor, we boost each other up with love and encouragement, and we don't take things too seriously..."

This is the story of our beautiful boy Liam, and our family journey through Autism. My purpose here, is to log our steps. Our highs and lows, challenges and successes.

Liam was diagnosed with Autism in April 2013 at The Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta Ga.

Very early on, even before we were sure that it was Autism, we decided that we were not going to wait for an official diagnosis to begin our own early interventions and healing.

"A worried mother does better research than the FBI".

There couldn't be a truer statement. Since this all began, I have graduated with a PHd in Google research. I have spent countless of hours online, reading books, emailing, calling and talking to people who may be able to provide us with more insight, help and guidance.

We began BioMedical Interventions and Healing around 2 1/2 years of age. It has not been easy, but we have faith that we are on the right path. BioMed and dietary interventions along with OT, Speech, early intervention preschool and some ABA has helped tremendously.
We continue to strive towards our goal for Liam to not only be a happy little boy- but to provide him with the opportunities to ensure he have the best possible outcomes in life.
I think that's pretty "normal" for most parents to wish for their children though, dont you think? But for us, like many Autism Families, its just going to take a little bit more work. Bring it on.

This is an ongoing journey of discovery and ENORMOUS learning experience, not just about Autism, but about myself... about family...about love...about life.

I will be documenting our steps: dietary interventions, bio-medical healing, supplementation, therapies and anything else we are attempting in our quest. These are our Adventures in Autism.
